meets Flemish
Minister of Education
On October 4, 2015 a student from PTI Kortrijk took part in the Flemish Company Discovery Day 2015 (“Open Bedrijvendag”). He presented the work of SHARES to a large audience and explained how the Renewable Beats trailer works. He made this music trailer for festivals with his fellow students during the SHARES project. The Flemish Minister of Education came to listen to him. She was impressed by the project and happy to see that young people take such an interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
Company Discovery Day is the largest one-day event of Belgium, organised by Voka. It always takes place on the first Sunday of October. More than 100 companies open their doors for the public. This year there were 650,000 visitors.
